A woman in a long red gown moves beneath a chandelier’s patient light, and yet the room feel worlds apart! I painted as a way to honor the moments when movement becomes language, when light becomes a partner, and when solitude waltzes with joy. In the still frame of the canvas, I hope viewers sense the music that lingers, and perhaps recall their own steps beneath life’s many chandeliers.
